Halloween Party

We had our church Halloween party last night. Elliott was of course a pirate- surprise surprise- and the big shocker- so were we. I think El makes a great pirate. He has had quite a bit of experience in piracy.

The last picture is of El by his favorite car in the "trunk or treat" (I know- what is a trunk or treat? The kids go around at the end of the party from trunk to trunk of the guests cars and do the trick or treating thing.) This car in particular took much of Elliott's time. The people in the trunk were dressed in black robes and saying spooky stuff. One of the boys had an orange bucket that was suppose to be filled with candy. Every time the kids would stick their hand in to get a piece of candy out the boy would grab their hands. It was really funny watching the kids expressions while getting spooked. Elliott loved this- it totally intrigued him- he wanted to just stand there all night and watch the boys get each of the kids.
