7 years old

Elliott turned 7 on the 2nd.  Man, how time FLIES!  Wasn't it yesterday we brought him home?  He had a little list of what he wanted- one of which was a pillow pet.  They are stuffed animals that you can roll and velcro and they become the animal- unvelcro and they are a pillow.  We went online to see all the choices- and he picked------ a yellow duck.  Hum.  Not quite like him, until I through about who E is- I asked him why he picked this particular one- and he said "because it looked the softest".  Not because it was the animal he wanted or color he wanted- he wanted comfort.  That is TOTALLY something Craig would do- to a T.  So funny.  Comfort seeker.

He's been riding a very small bike for quite sometime now that we got at a garage sale of all places.  It was time for a new bike and he is loving every minute of it.  We've been on a few good rides already.

This year we opted for a different kind of party.  Not quite my style but it worked out well.  I've still been a little under the weather (I'm fine) from the cold I got on our trip so we decided to do a party at a place that would do the party for us.  It's a bounce house place.  They pretty much do it all.  Elliott had a great time and that was all that mattered to me.  He has such a fun group of cousins and friends.  He is very loved.

Elliott has been asking to go to Rainforest Cafe every since we went last year for Ede's birthday.  He was so excited to go on his birthday with all of his family.  He really is one of the easiest people to please.

What's the end of your birthday without a few fireworks.  Especially for my little pyro.

And lastly, a special birthday dinner at Grandma Ede's house.  She always makes a dinner the Sunday after your birthday.  It was such a nice way to end such a great weekend!  We LOVE our Elliott and can't imagine our lives without him!
Happy 7th Birthday my love!
